Caitlin Reid is a unique health professional with qualifications as an accredited practising dietitian, yoga teacher and accredited exercise physiologist. After completing her double degree at Deakin University in Victoria, in 2006 Caitlin left her hometown of Geelong and moved to Sydney. It was here that Caitlin combined her passion for health and wellbeing with her love for writing.

Her health and wellbeing articles have featured in Women’s Fitness, CLEO, Healthy Food Guide, Good Health, Yoga Journal, Dolly Shape, SMH, 9Coach and Kidspot, Diabetes Management Journal, HBL and AIA Australia. You may have see Caitlin discussing food and nutrition topics on Kerri-Anne, TNT, A Current Affair, Today Tonight and Swish TV or hear her provide health advice on numerous Australian radio stations including ABC, 2GB, 2UE, Pulse FM, and 4CC. Caitlin is also the author of Health and the City.

Caitlin also works as a nutrition and wellbeing consultant providing nutrition and exercise expertise to a number of companies including Kellogg, Haverick Meats, My Muscle Chef, MLA, Be Natural and BodyCare Nutrition. She spent five years as the ambassador for Papaya Australia.

In 2012 Caitlin completed her yoga teacher training at Byron Yoga Centre and currently teaches yoga to individuals, small groups and sporting teams including NSW Swifts, Wests Tigers and Queensland Maroons. Working as a performance dietitian, Caitlin spent eight years consulting to the South Sydney Rabbitohs and has also worked with the Penrith Panthers. Currently Caitlin provides nutrition expertise to the Wests Tigers, Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs and NSW Swifts.

Caitlin is also the founder and designer of J+L Lifestyle, an Australian made streetwear-inspired kids activewear and lifestyle range, that she started for her own two kids, Jack and Lucy. As you can imagine, Caitlin loves all things health and wellbeing and in her downtime you can find her running, paddleboarding, practicing yoga and enjoying time with her family and friends.

Caitlin has been teaching yoga to individuals, small groups and sporting teams for eight years. She believes all athletes can benefit from implementing yoga into their training program and combines modern sports science approaches with the science of yoga to help athletes improve performance and prevent injury. Caitlin integrates yoga into the training programs of the NSW Swifts. Queensland Maroons, Wests Tigers and additional NRL players.
