The Grounds Alexandria is the perfect place for breakfast.
If you’re like me and love eating out for breakfast, then you must try The Grounds in Alexandria, Sydney. It’s more than just a cafe – it’s an old pie factory that hosts a coffee research and testing facility and a cafe that opens out onto a garden of vegetables and herbs. The food and coffee are delicious. There are a few animals to entertain the kids – the pig Kevin Bacon, the sheep Bradley and chickens. Once a month The Grounds hosts markets, while every school holidays the have a school holiday program with art, yoga and plant sessions for kids. Tuesday mornings from 7am you can also take part in a yoga class for $15 in the gorgeous gardens. Whether you live in Sydney or here for a holiday, I highly recommend The Grounds for breakfast. Just make sure you get there early or you may have to wait for a table.
